Welcome to the web credits for webcred.it - careful of the recursion!

Webcred.it was built to give credit to the unsung heroes who build the internet - from the superstar designers and developers right down to the back room architects and testers - to let the rest of us explore a little more about the sites we love.

Feel free to ask us anything in the discussion at the bottom of this page - or add your own sites that you've helped create, and prove your credentials to the world. AB & Will.

For Andrew Ballard (AB) — How did you settle on CakePHP as a framework? Reply

Hey thanks Chris, it's an old favourite of mine - I'd been using it since it was in it's early stages. It's the most MVC/RubyonRails-like of the PHP frameworks. A lot of things it just does for free, or with a single line of code. And after 5 years, there's now a really decent community and great resources to help find out the tricky questions!
